Losing Her To A Better Man

For as long as I’ve been alive I’ve lived in his shadow. He has always been my better.

Bethany was my dream woman, perfect for me in every way. I loved and adored her, but on some level I knew I wasn’t worthy of her.

I blame it on Jim, a man who I’ve known since the moment I was born and who has proved to me time and again that he is my better. More attractive, more charismatic, more successful.

Jim has never met my Bethany, because I knew just what would happen if he did.

The connection is immediate and strong. The draw between the two of them undeniable. I can’t believe I’m watching this happen, my worst fears come to truth.

But I can’t deny that he gives her more than I ever could.

Excerpt

I stood before it for a moment. A moment’s hesitation as I lived in the world where I was still happy and married to a woman far beyond my wildest dreams. I lived in a moment with Bethany, and I was happy there.

But it wasn’t real. Maybe it never had been.

Falling to my knees I pressed my eye against the hole and peered through, catching a sight that confirmed all of my worst fears and desires.

They were both fully naked, my Bethany on her knees before him with his cock in her hand and her lips wrapped around it. She stared up at him with a deep and abiding affection, with eyes that used to be reserved for me but belonged to him now.

She was as beautiful as the day that I met her. No that’s not entirely true, she was more beautiful.

Like complimenting like, the whole more than the sum of its parts.

Together they were beautiful, a work of art. Together they were complete.

She was slight and femme and he was strong and masculine. His broad shoulders and his firm chest were lined with hard slabs of muscle, his abs rigid and defined, and his cock making mine wither in comparison.

There was no part of me that he was not my better, and that was clear from the look of pure rapture in her eyes.

She took him into her mouth, parting her lips to taste and please him. His touch on her was gentle and restrained, moving her hair back and caressing her head. Familiar. Lovers.

Because love was the defining factor here, of that I was certain. That was clear and evident from the looks they gave each other, from the way that they couldn’t stare out of each other’s eyes.

When he lifted her to her feet she gave a giggle that was familiar and yet not. Something delighted and delightful, something tinkling and sweet.

With a breathy moan, he pulled her into his arms, their lips connected in a passionate embrace as I watched his tongue slip past her lips with fervent need. Her hands were on his body, caressing and kneading against his firmness. She sighed and let him trace a trail of kisses down her neck, let his hands drift over her curves to touch and feel them as she moaned and spoke with pleasurable need.

Oh Jim,” she confessed, “I’ve missed your touch.”
